Slow Cooked Asian Chicken

3 ½ to 4 lbs. chicken (any kind) thighs work really well
1/3 C. soy sauce
2 Tbls. oil
2 Tbls. brown sugar
2 Tbls. water
1 garlic clove, minced (alternately use ¼ tsp. dried garlic)
1 tsp. ground ginger

Place chicken in a slow cooker. In a small bowl combine soy sauce, vegetable oil, brown sugar, water, garlic, and ginger; pour over chicken.
Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours.

I have made this a few times and everybody loves it, I even made it for some friends and it was great. I have also used it with pork and it works, of course to be lean chicken breasts would be the best. Also I usually just put the chicken in frozen and it still turns out. I hope you guys like it, it sure makes an easy meal.
